With 12 games in the season, HRH finished  with a 6-4-2 record. Racking 42 goals, the team reached and maintained a solid 2nd place prior to the play offs.

The first play off game took place against the Woodlands Green.  Despite a noble fight, Woodlands team fell with a shut out score of 7--0.

The following Saturday, HRH faced off against Woodlands White.

The score remained at "0" until the second period, when WW "drew first blood" with a solid goal.  HRH's Asst. Captain, Ben Stribling answered with a rebound goal. With 18 seconds left in the second period, WW placed a goal when the puck hit the goalie's glove and bounced over, into the net. Many thought the game was finished, the cup claimed.  Until……..a backhanded goal tied the 3rd period score at 2 to 2.

It would be in overtime that decisions and history would be made.  Both teams sent their strongest line to the face off circle; knowing that at the end, a champion would be named.
The goal would belong to Alec Jacks. But it was a Defensive line that sent the puck flying to the opposite end of the rink, while tying up offensive opponents. And, it was an Offensive line that pushed and pulled defensive opponents away from the net, so that a puck sent high and across the left shoulder would result in a championship……
For their hard work, HRH gained the privilege of playing against the JV1 division team, Kingwood. Upon winning that match  with a score of 4-1,  HRH finally fell to the Woodlands Red team--a JV I division second place team.
The members of HRH salute all the teams of HHSI...they are worthy opponents and it is an honor to share the rink with these athletes.

Paying respect to the U.S.

The Battle is ON!

HRH takes the Championship.
